Garlic is rich in substances with proven antibacterial and antiparasitic properties (allicin), vitamins A, B, and C, and microelements (sulphur, zinc, potassium, phosphorus, calcium, magnesium, and selenium).
The substances it contains have a positive effect on digestion, promote the secretion of digestive juices, and, thanks to their antibacterial properties, maintain optimal composition of intestinal microflora. Garlic also supports liver detoxification, boosts the immune system, and is of considerable benefit to the health and function of the cardiovascular system.
