Reliq nanotech cleaning agents are derived from the deposits of weathered volcanic ash, called Healing Clay by the ancient American Indians. The pH of dog’s skin is about 7.5 where a human’s skin is about 5.5, so the kind of shampoo you use on your dog should be much more neutral in pH than human shampoo. Acidic shampoos (less than pH7) strip away the hair and skin's protective oils, resulting in dry, irritated skin and a dull coat.
