Did you know that pork is one of the highest complete meat proteins you can give your dog? It contains essential amino acids in high quantities that may assist in your dog’s muscle development. In addition to the nutrition benefits of pork, the pork in your inception pork recipe comes from the rich farmlands of Iowa, where the farms are owned and ran by local farmers, and agriculture is thriving.

The oats used in inception come from the pristine oat fields of Canada. Oats are high in fiber and contain antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals, all working together to promote and maintain the health and well-being of your dog.

Lastly, the millet and milo we use are grown in the vibrant green farmlands of North Dakota, harvested with care by local farmers and prepared to meet the high standards that your dog deserves. Millet is also a healthy source of carbohydrates for most dogs and is easy to digest.

    Inception® Pork Recipe for dogs is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO) for all life stages except the growth of large size dogs (70 pounds or more as an adult).

    When switching your dog’s diet, we recommend that it should be done gradually over 5-7 days, increasing the amount each day with the present diet as sudden change in diet may result in digestive disturbances.

  • Adults: Feed 2 to 4% of your dog's body weight per day. If you feel your is dog thin, then start with 4% of his body weight per day and then reassess it later. If you have an overweight dog, then start with 2%. Monitor your dog's weight regularly to adjust the amount you feed. 

    Puppies: Feed 3 to 6% of your puppy's body weight per day. Divide the daily amount into 2 to 4 meals. (Note: Remember to weigh your puppy at least once a week as they grow fast and you want to ensure they are fed the correct amount of BARF). 

    Bitches in whelp: Feed as per normal in the first 4 weeks of pregnancy. Increase to 3 to 4% of her body weight from week 5 to week 7. Increase to 4 to 6% in the last 2 weeks of pregnancy. Monitor your dog's weight regularly to adjust the amount you feed.
